I am also cutting out fabric to make the Carolina Chain block from a very old fabric called Winter Rose by Kansas Troubles. This will be made for the Quilts of Valour project as seen on my sidebar. There will be enough to also make a Rail Fence quilt for the same project. I am using a suggestion from the Stash Manicure group to just cut two projects at the same time. This gets two projects going and I can even work on both projects simultaneously.
I am also making cards today. I have several birthday cards to make, and two Mother's Day cards. Basic Grey has become a favorite fabric line but it was my very favorite scrapbooking paper for years. This is an older line called Scarlet, and is just beautiful. The good thing is I can make feminine and masculine cards with these colours.
Can you tell Tony is out golfing today, and I don't have to make dinner or clean the house??? Yay!!!

Ah - a fellow scrapbooker and card-maker, too! I was just standing at the ironing board thinking that I should spend a day scrapping sometime soon. Every since quilting took over my life. . . . .
Don't you just love "Home Alone" days! Looks like you're making good use of your time. Enjoy.
Wow! Annie you had a busy day!I like the Verna too and I am in the process of deciding which other project I can make with this line before I get into the Christmas fabrics.
Your dog is so funny! LOL Verna is so delightful and screams Spring! Looks like your anniversary trip was awesome too. I've enjoyed catching up with what's been going on in your world :^)
