It has been so long since I posted I almost forgot my password....

It is a dull rainy day here. This is what Chloe chose to do today:

I live in a town with a population of about 25,000 people so have been thrilled to have recently find a long arm quilter that I can trust with my quilts. She was referred to me by my hair stylist, so she had to be good right? Hair and quilts are about even when it comes to trusting people to do a good job...so this is what I chose to do today:

She did a beautiful job of quilting. We chose a variegated thread with a circle pattern that softens the look of this rectangular quilt. I have put the binding on this baby and will do the hand sewing over the next evening or so.

This is actually a baby quilt for a friend of the family. It is for a little girl and I like the fact it will be more a childhood quilt than a baby quilt.

I have some episodes of the Good Wife to watch, so TV room here we come.
