Random Thoughts and Musings

Some things never change...sleeping dogs....

Messy yet organized sewing spaces....

2011 was not a great year for me. I have battled some depression and work related issues, and am hoping some things DO change....and that 2012 will be a year of change and good things. The optimist in me says "things can only get better" and the pessimist says "yah, but when?" I don't make resolutions, but I believe in goals, and one goal I set for myself is to be up for the challenge of a brand new year. So here we go!

We brought in the New Year together at home catching up on Boardwalk Empire episodes, but we had dinner with 6 friends and ended up with these leftovers. Yum! Guess we are having Chinese again tonight!

That is it for the musings, and here is my random thought...

Why, you say, would she show a picture of dog poop on a paper napkin? Well actually it is a peaunut butter macaroon, and it is frozen. My favorite! And did you know frozen Christmas baking has no calories?  A well known fact...

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Poop?! You are too funny! I hear you on the life stuff, some of the challenges we face each day can be hard on us. I hope you have a better year in 2012 and I hope I do too! We all need life to be a little bit easier...a little less worry and a lot less stress would be just great. I like your sewing space and it's good to hear that you are pleased with your move to a location where you can be organized and leave a work in progress wait until you return, plus no more concerns for how the room looks when guests enter your home. :-D

Yummy! I'll be over for leftovers and no-calorie Christmas deserts. I'm sorry your 2011 wasn't good, but I can certainly relate! Here's to a much happier, healthier 2012!

Yum - I want some no calorie candy :)!! Really hope that things are looking up for you in 2012 - I'm going with the optimist side - so I know things are going to be much better! Hugs!!
