More, Again....

It's like the song that never ends...or the gift that keeps on giving....

It rained before the snow started so the commute into Calgary will be difficult today. I am glad I work in town and also that I don't go in until 10 a.m. today.

Oh, how I feel your pain! Snow. We used to live in northern BC (Fort St. John, which I always referred to as Calgary North) where the winters went on and on. Wonderful people in the Peace Country, but eight months of winter and four months of tough sleddin' was a lot for someone who was born and raised in southern Ontario. My husband's family still lives there, and my mother in law told me yesterday they were expecting MORE snow last night. Yuk. I'm not going to tell her that my crocuses are up, the trees are leafing out and I waterered my backyard last Monday. That would be cruel. Hold tight - Spring is coming.

Oh! No! we've left snow behind and it now seems ages since we had it.

So Sorry!

Oh NOOOOO!!! Make it stop! I think we're finally finished with the nasty white stuff, but now we're in the rainy season. Can't complain though, because we'll have drought conditions in a couple of months probably. Just think of it as more snowy-sewy time!

Can't believe you are still getting snow. I know the weather isn't great here in Ireland and that spring has yet to settle but i do hope we don't get snow again!! hopefully it is the last bit of snow for you!! i am sure you will be delighted to see the back of it!

The pictures are beautiful, but I'm glad to be done with the snow here. Bring on spring!

I'm feeling your pain, too. Over here in northern Minnesota. Snow, snow flurries, sleet, rain, snow, pouring rain....argh! And me with a load of roofing materials sitting up on the roof, waiting to be installed. Looks like those April showers that bring May flowers are intending to kick in by Saturday. Are we having fun yet? sigh...
