Weekend Plans

I am trying to organize projects in a manner that appeals to me so that I stay focused. I am reorganizing the plastic containers and labeling them- do you think that will help? I am so easily led astray that I am not sure...
I have joined another group- this is a mystery quilt that I have my lights and darks prepared for Monday when the first step will be posted. It is called Scrap Pile Clean Up Mystery quilt and the button is on the right hand side of my blog. I am determined to make a dent in my scraps this year, so this is another step in that direction...as long as I don't get sidetracked (see above!)
This is my fifth block the the Jelly Roll Sampler quilt along. I love the Rural Jardin- the blues and reds are great, and I can't wait to see the end result of this quilt.
I am off to run errands and just generally do the Saturday stuff that has to be done when you work full time...just a reality. I hope to be back in the sewing room later this afternoon getting my boxes labeled and planning my projects for May for the Charming Guys and Girls Quilt Club. I am away for 5 days next week including the weekend (which is when I do most of my quilting) so I need to be good to myself plan just what I think I can actually accomplish. Yah, right!

Hope you find some time to sew once the chores are done. You do have some nice projects going. :-D I am nearly hopeless when it comes to keeping things organized and projects labeled so I can remember what on earth I thought I was going to do. Hee!

When you are done, come organize my sewing room! A disaster has struck it. I am one of the people in the club called, out of sight out of mind. Besides there are no closets in my sewing room. It's chaos in there!
