I'll Show You Mine

There have been many lengthy discussions about stashes in blogland lately. I am going to share mine, but be aware this is many years of collecting fabric and some of this predates quilting- you can probably see fabric from one of Dana's dresses or Neil's shorts from 20 years ago! I have been quilting for about 15 years, but did not start collecting much of a quilting stash until about 5 years ago. I was a quilter who made a project (yes, one at a time) and then moved on to the next one. Now there is no rhyme or reason... just whatever takes my fancy. Yes, I admit I am frivolous! The pile you see above is anything less than 1/2 yard, sorted (sort of) by colour.
This is anything 1/2 yard or more, sorted by colour...
These are my planned projects- most cut out or at least sorted with a design or pattern.
The big bookcase was given to me by Tony's Mom, and is great for quilting books, and the baskets at the bottom hold patterns and magazines. The white Ikea cabinet holds fabric- mostly precuts that have no plan in mind yet...the boxes on the top shelf of the bookcase are photos- for the day I am going to scrapbook every picture from the last 25 years of marriage! That is why the subtitle of my blog reads "there are never enough hours in the day...)

Hi Anne. I'm FINALLY doing a little catch-up on my blogging friends.

Your stash looks inviting to me. But, then again, I LOVE ALL stashes....LOL

Hope you're having a wonderful day. Miss you.
