Time to have lunch and decide what to work on this afternoon-I am having a bit of a creativity issue, so might start something new to spur on the juices.

Sunday Blues
Today is going to be my day in my "studio" (as I have been told to call it), but here it is almost noon and I have yet to wander that way. I am studying this morning as I have a midterm to write on line sometime between June 5-12. I sat on the deck in the sun for awhile, but the wind came up and I had to come inside anyway to answer my chapter questions on line. My husband is coaching rugby this morning and will pick up groceries on his way home. He is on what we call a "recession vacation" and so some of the household chores have become his in the last few months. He has been out of work since February and so my new motto for the studio is "use what you have". This is really not a problem as I have lots to use, and prevents me from buying more at the moment....

How Do I Get Started???
I have been promising myself for a long time that I would start a blog. I follow many quilting and scrap booking blogs, and really love to read about how creative so many other women are. Sometimes between working full time and taking courses for work, and housework etc...it seems there are not enough hours in the day. But it really is a priority to get a few hours every week to be creative. Sometime all I need is an hour in my room to regain my sanity. I am lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny room that is just mine. I have a little TV and a little unit that I can play my iPod music or listen to recorded books. I love to read, too, so this is the best way to incorporate both loves, and make good use of time! Here is my room- I am currently reorganizing and trying to make the best use of the space. I want a chair for the window alcove so that I can watch TV and do hand sewing there. I took a lieu day off work today and ended up not going into my room at all, but getting out for a long walk with my husband as it was the nicest day of the spring, so far. Can't let that good weather go to waste! Anyway there is always tomorrow and the weather is not as promising.
