Last weekend I decided I needed to take stock of what I have on the go- completed flimsy's that need borders, backing, binding, and quilting. Chloe had to lay on top of almost every single one. For some reason she loves fabric and quilt tops and is more than happy to sleep and drool on top of them. I guess they smell like me. I measured each one, determined what else I needed to complete it and wrote it all down. I need to save for batting as most have binding and I have lots of fabric I can use for backing.
This is the beginning of my king size quilt made from Martinique. It is super easy to make and I love this fabric- have I said that before?????
I have my
Mystery Quilt caught up and ready to go for Monday as I believe we will be putting the blocks together. It is made from scraps and I love it already. I have tried to use mostly reds, blues, golds and a green binding.
And. last but not least I am making a sampler quilt made from Prayer Flag. This sampler quilt is from
Amy's Creative Side. The blocks are large and her instructions are terrific. I have block 5 and 6 underway as well, so imagine I should complete this this week.
How's your week been?

I'll be anxious to see your Mystery Quilt. I thought I was going to make it, but just never got started. Good luck with all your finishes!
It's funny how pets want to lay on our fabric!
Love your quilts and look forward to seeing them
all done. I posted my week's activities and send out an invitation for others to respond to your question.. "How's your week been?" Thanks Anne for the challenge...
