It is a beautiful Saturday morning and I enjoy this view as I sit outside and drink my morning coffee. We have a town pathway behind us and ponds, and the countryside in the distance. This is the first time we've been able to sit outside on a Saturday morning this season...finally no rain and it is warm enough.
Chloe is enjoying the weather too, and she is ever vigilant as there are gophers in the rocks behind us. She can stand there for hours watching for them, and then starts to cry when she sees them. If she were to meet on face to face, she'd likely run!
This is what I am working on today...Tony is golfing (also enjoying our weather...), and I have the day to myself. These are the two strips ready to be made into a four strip for the blocks in our Charming Friends Quilt Along. I am going to jump on the treadmill later this morning after breakfast digests, but plan to spend the day in my sewing room. I'll have lunch on the deck, and we are invited to friends for dinner as well, so no meal to prepare tonight. Is that a perfect day or what?
